Arrested woman uses fake California ID to cheat Miami police

A woman arrested for being disruptive and pushing bouncers at the G5ive club used fake California ID to cheat the system, police said.

Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said the woman in Los Angeles tipped off officials and they are now trying to figure out who the suspect is. The attorney added that the woman used somebody else’s identification to her advantage.

Speaking about the case, Rundle said, “What this clearly is an individual who is using somebody else’s identification to her own advantage … She works in clubs here in Dade County. She’s falsified a driver’s license of a woman who lives in California.”

Typically, when an individual is taken into custody and booked, the state knows the individual’s name and address. But, officials are seeking the public’s help in this case.

The woman befooled everyone using the fake driver’s license. She was fingerprinted, but that did not help investigators because that would only lead them back to her criminal history, which she did not have any on file.

Anyone with information about the woman has been urged to immediately call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. The informer can opt to remain anonymous, and he/she may be eligible for a cash reward.
